Oxygen becomes master reseller for SAP add-on solutions provider Prometheus Group

Oxygen has signed an agreement to act as master reseller in Australia and New Zealand for SAP planning and scheduling solutions provider, US-based Prometheus Group.

Oxygen Industry Lead Carl McGowan says the agreement recognises the success Oxygen has had in selling, implementing and supporting the value-add SAP plant maintenance product suite over the last 12 months.

“When companies come to us and ask how they can find cost and productivity improvements in plant maintenance, we introduce them to Prometheus’ suite of add-on products,” says McGowan. “It is a valuable toolset for large industrial companies who regularly have to schedule maintenance shut downs to carry out major plant and equipment servicing.

“Equally, it is versatile enough to handle high demand, day-to-day scheduling – the type commonly faced by utility companies who need to dispatch service crews at short notice to fix phone lines or water leaks.”

Fewer equipment breakdowns, increased machine uptime and more work done by fewer people are some of the key benefits of implementing the Prometheus scheduling tool, McGowan says.

Oxygen now sells the separate Prometheus products bundled together as the Unity Suite. The suite provides access to the following functionality:

Graphical Scheduler:
Graphical Work Order Scheduler (GWOS) is the one-stop solution for SAP Plant Maintenance scheduling requirements.

Mass Change:
Work Order Mass Change (WOMC) allows users to quickly modify any order level or operation level field, including user status and system status.

Print Manager:
Work Order Print Manager (WOPM) streamlines the work order printing process from a single screen.

Cost Center Expense Report:
The power of the Cost Center Expense Report (CCER) lies in the graphical user interface that allows high level inspections of costs but also detailed vendor charges.

KPI Reports:
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) provide standard “stop light” tabular reports and also graphical trends for Start Date Compliance, Finish Date Compliance, Planned versus actual work hours and Schedule Compliance (planned work versus break-in work).

Material Shopping Cart:
The Material Shopping Cart (MSC) streamlines the work order component ordering process in SAP.

Tool Crib Manager:
The Tool Crib Manager (TCM) allows users to check out and track tools to employees, departments or tool cribs.

Wireless Solutions:
Wireless Transaction Server (WTS) allows users to perform SAP tasks at the office or in the field.

Order to Task List:
Order to Task List allows a planner to convert a work order into a reusable task list.
