Winshuttle releases latest version of data management tools
Oxygen, Winshuttle’s only licensed product reseller and implementer in Australia and New Zealand, has sold Winshuttle licences to six new customers over the last three months. Oxygen Industry Lead, Carl McGowan, says when customers evaluate the new version of transactionSHUTTLE they will gain an insight into the significant benefits Winshuttle offers.
“Winshuttle automates repetitive data updates by creating and executing simple upload scripts,” says McGowan. “The products are extremely intuitive and can be operated by business users, negating the need to bring in costly provider support to perform data updates.”
McGowan says the key features of the new release include the ability to utilise standard SAP lookups from within Excel and a new validation feature, which allows SAP users to review Excel data before actually running it.
“The latest release is an extremely sophisticated product with new, improved integration with Excel. It simplifies the user interface and will increase user acceptance.”
The Winshuttle solution consists of two key products: transactionSHUTTLE, which allows the simplified creation and execution of upload scripts, and querySHUTTLE, which enables simplified creation of ad hoc queries and subsequent execution.
TransactionSHUTTLE records the steps of SAP transactions, maps relevant fields to Excel and creates a transaction template, says McGowan.
“Once this template has been created an SAP user can then automate repetitive SAP tasks. This results in IT cost reductions and savings in time, effort and resources.”
