THINK 08 provides ongoing networking and education opportunities for New Zealand SAP users
The breakfast seminar was the first in what is planned to be an ongoing series of complimentary SAP education and networking events. THINK aims to provide a forum for leading New Zealand SAP users to learn about new SAP products, listen to case studies and share information while networking with their SAP peers.
“There is a definite need for a discussion forum of this kind amongst New Zealand SAP users,” says Oxygen’s chief executive Mike T. Smith. “The chance to discuss implementation experiences with fellow SAP users and learn first-hand about the ever increasing range of SAP products is an invaluable means of staying up-to-date with the latest developments.”
Smith says Oxygen is keen to see THINK develop along the lines of the Australian SAP User Group (SAUG). “We have a long history of support for the SAP community and were a foundation sponsor of SAUG, which has now grown to become a key organisation for providing face-to-face learning opportunities for SAP users.”
“In establishing THINK we want to ensure New Zealand users are well supported, have more direct access to knowledge about current and future SAP product developments and also some ideas on how to get the best business value and coverage from an implementation.”
At the first session SAP’s Carl Harris (Solutions Architect – Business Intelligence) discussed the latest trends in business intelligence including data integrity and trust, the growing demand for business intelligence solutions, and how businesses can consolidate strategy and execution through common business metrics and goals.
The next THINK networking event and seminar is planned for October 2008. Email us at markets@oxygenforbusiness.com for more information.
