SAP purchase order creation and approvals just got easier

Oxygen is offering a 30-day free trial on software that simplifies the creation and approval of web-based purchase orders and integrates with SAP in real-time.

The two third party software solutions cost effectively streamline the raising and approval of purchase orders, while seamlessly integrating with SAP for live data look-ups.

Oxygen Solution Sales Manager, Carl McGowan, says both solutions save time and simplify the workflow routines for users and managers.

“SharePoint InfoPath is an application from IQX Business Solutions that leverages the flexibility of SharePoint, allowing day-to-day users to quickly and easily create purchase orders and requisitions in SAP via a simple electronic form. The form incorporates live SAP data lookups for accurate and easy data entry.”

The form is customisable, integrated to SAP and enforces SAP authorisations. It can be installed in minutes and requires no backend SAP customisation.

“Having created the purchase order, customers can also simplify the approval process by deploying ExpressPO from 10 Seconds Software. This solution allows users to approve purchasing from their mobile phone or desktop browser. It is also quick and easy to implement and requires no configuration changes to the customer’s core SAP system.

The solution notifies managers of purchase approval requests directly to their inbox and provides real time updates of approval in SAP.
