Oxygen selected as SAP support partner for Macquarie Generation and begins complex project at SCA HA
Oxygen’s general manager of sales, Phil Curtis, says Macquarie Generation is a great win for Oxygen as it further enhances the company's profile in the utilities sector, where Oxygen has also undertaken work with Alinta & Powerlink.

Curtis says the company has also secured its first OxygenExpress project – implementing an SAP Business One solution for Procal Dairies, a privately owned company established in 2003 that has grown to become one of the largest independent dairy providers in Victoria, Australia.
OxygenExpress solutions are designed to provide growing organisations with the benefit of a complete hardware, SAP software and deployment package from a single supplier with a fixed scope and price.
In other new business, Curtis reports that an SAP accounting methodology project for SCA Hygiene Australia, the largest hygiene products company in the region, is also underway. SAP’s Profitability Analysis (CO-PA) software enables organisations to evaluate market segments, classifying them according to products, customers, orders or any combination of these. Oxygen is implementing the application in order to provide SCA Hygiene with enhanced information to support internal accounting and decision-making.
“This is a complex piece of integration work involving the configuration of account-based and costing-based CO-PA with other SAP components such as SAP BW and SAP NetWeaver BI,” Curtis says.
Oxygen is also undertaking project work for Visy, the world’s largest privately owned packaging and recycling company. “We have successfully undertaken a CRM strategy project for the company and we are now engaged in providing remote SAP Basis support,” Curtis says.
