Oxygen makes two senior appointments to head New Zealand operations
Oxygen Chief Executive Mike T. Smith, says Swaffield brings a significant level of leadership experience and business knowledge to the position, having worked in the professional services industry and fulfilled CIO and CTO roles across a diverse range of businesses.
“He has considerable expertise in managing very large and complex business transformation and IT related projects. He also has significant sales and business development experience gained during his time working at KPMG and as an independent consultant.
Prior to joining Oxygen, Swaffield’s previous roles included CIO at SKYCITY and CIO / CTO at TVNZ.
“He brings a strategic thinking approach to business issues, markets and technologies, which will provide customers with plenty of ideas on how they can best maximise the value and use of their SAP solutions.”
An internal appointment, Datta Supomo was previously Oxygen’s Business Manager for Australian Government projects. Based in Canberra, he has successfully created a well respected reputation for Oxygen’s SAP delivery over the last three years.
“Datta will relish the role of business development manager, having established start up sales offices for IT services organisations internationally on three separate occasions during his career,” says Smith. “He has great knowledge of the SAP product set, markets and competitors and is the perfect candidate to continue building on our strong growth in the New Zealand market.”
Both roles are effective immediately.
