Oxygen lunch offers unique insights
The first of these complimentary sessions will discuss ways to improve HR performance and the topic will be approached from several different perspectives, says Jason Kiely, Oxygen’s Practice Manager - Capability Lead, Human Capital Management.
“It will be a unique session,” says Kiely. “We will discuss ways of improving the implementation of HR solutions from an academic, consulting and product perspective.”
Kiely says he will be introducing research from the UK which provides insights into the trends currently influencing the implementation of HR at large organisations.
“The research shows that the use of e-HR tools is increasing as organisations endeavour to move from a purely transactional and administrative execution of HR towards a more service oriented and strategic focus.”
He says the use of e-HR tools can free up resources, enabling HR staff to concentrate on ‘big picture’ thinking. “If an organisation can better leverage the information it collects to provide a much more strategic service to the business, it immediately improves the business case for implementing the tools.”
The meeting will be introduced by executive coach, Chris Johnstone, of Kerridge and Partners. “Chris’s primary aim is to get HR directors to perform better in their roles,” says Kiely. “He will be talking about how e-HR is one of a number of tools that HR directors can use to facilitate change and deliver higher value to the business.”
