Oxygen launches SAP upgrade micro-site
Oxygen’s general manager of solution delivery, Stuart Dickinson, says the site, www.oxygenforupgrades.com, offers customers a practical guide to extracting improved performance from their SAP applications.
“Currently we have a large number of customers looking to upgrade their existing SAP solutions. The difficult economic climate, coupled with the fact that many customers are running legacy SAP applications which incur more expensive support costs, is driving organisations to look at ways they can optimise their SAP landscape.”
Dickinson says the site provides a rich resource of information about a variety of different upgrade approaches.
“We've put together a series of videos, whitepapers and case studies to share our experience and thinking,” says Dickinson. “Each section covers a different part of the process, from working out the business reason to upgrade, through to building the business and establishing a roadmap to move towards further SAP success.”
He says Oxygen is extremely well placed to offer this information having successfully completed a number of application and technical upgrade projects, including one of the first successful SAP upgrades to mySAP ERP for the Australian Federal Government.
“That upgrade allowed the Department of Employment and Workplace Relations (DEWR) in Canberra to lay the foundation for the future implementation of human resource applications, and improve its budgeting and reporting processes.
