Oxygen continues to win SAP project work from natural resources and manufacturing sectors

Oxygen’s general manager of sales, Paul Kruger, says the company has gained a number of new SAP engagements from both first time and existing customers during the month of November.

Kruger says Oxygen continues to win work in the natural resources sector. “Most significantly we have been asked by a leading oil and gas exploration and production company to implement a range of new SAP human resources applications.

“We are also rolling out projects at a large mineral resources company, as it proceeds along its path of continual business process improvement.”

'SAP project work from the manufacturing sector remains strong. We are also currently engaged in an ongoing program of work for tyre manufacturer Bridgestone, moving their New Zealand financial operations onto a new SAP platform and implementing a new enterprise asset management system at paper and packaging company Amcor.”

Oxygen’s general manager of consulting New Zealand, Wayne Pohe, says the company has recently completed a successful SAP ERP6.0 upgrade at Television New Zealand, New Zealand's biggest free-to-air broadcaster and the nation's television public broadcaster.

“There is generally a lot of activity within the New Zealand market at the moment and overall, things are looking positive for the first half of 2009. SAP project work from the New Zealand manufacturing sector remains strong with ongoing project engagements with Fonterra and Carter Holt Harvey.”
