Oxygen appoints National Solution Leaders to enhance delivery and support changing customer needs

Oxygen CE Mike T. Smith says the National Solutions Leaders are responsible for growing Oxygen’s consulting business within each of their appointed solution lines, which closely relate to SAP applications and associated technology services.
“In Australia we have made three initial appointments, one each for Financial Management, Programme Management and Platform and Technology, while in New Zealand we have initially appointed leaders for Financial Management and Supply Chain Management.”
Smith says the newly created positions are all internal promotions and are a result of Oxygen reorganising the way it delivers its consulting services, which now more closely matches the way SAP operates its country models. More appointments will be made over the next two quarters.
“When large enterprises undertake IT system change they require line of business expertise to deliver the project at hand, but also need advice on planning future state requirements. Matching our consultants’ expertise against SAP solution lines allows us to deliver improved project outcomes, and be more proactive in anticipating changing customer needs.”
The Australian National Solutions Leaders are:
- Mark Finlayson - Platform & Technology
Based in Melbourne, Finlayson brings over 18 years experience in the IT industry and has worked for both system integrators and consulting organisations during that time. He has extensive experience in shaping business solutions and managing global SAP projects and architecture teams and most recently led Oxygen’s Enabling Technologies team in Melbourne.
- David Hillman - Programme Management
Prior to this role Hillman led Oxygen’s Southern Region Business Intelligence service line, and has been involved in a number of challenging project and programme management roles for the business. He will be based in Melbourne and brings 14 years experience managing major ERP programmes, many of which involved the delivery of SAP functionality.
- Stephen Morling - Financial Management
Based in Melbourne, Morling brings to this role over 15 years of package implementation experience, acquired with Tier 1 organisations in delivery management, senior solution architecture and in business development/pre-sales. A recognized expert in this field, Stephen most recently led the Oxygen SAP Financial Management team in Melbourne.
The New Zealand National Solutions Leaders are:
- Paul Mihaljevich - Financial Management
Mihaljevich joined the consulting world with a solid financial management background and has subsequently worked across multiple industries and across a range of countries from pre-sales through to solution architecture/design and project delivery. He will be based in Auckalnd.
- Paul Sipos - Supply Chain Management
Located in Auckland, Sipos has extensive ERP project experience, of which 10 years has been involved in delivering SAP solutions in Sales & Distribution and Supply Chain Management. He has played an integral role in developing and positioning the supply chain management service line with Oxygen’s key clients and has a proven track record of successful delivery.
