Oxygen takes home third in the inaugural SAP Ecosystem Foundation Corporate Regatta

Some of the Oxygen Sydney team spent last Friday racing on Sydney Harbour as part of the inaugural SAP Ecosystem Foundation Regatta.

Oxygen, foundation sponsors of the SAP Ecosystem Foundation, http://www.sapef.org/ had a twelve man crew comprised of a mix Of Oxygen, UXC, SAP & customer representatives all united by our Oxygen yachting uniform!

We thoroughly enjoyed every minute of the scenic race which started at Middle Harbour Yacht Club in Mosman and coursed passed the Opera House, Fort Denison and the Eastern Bays.

Placing third was just the icing on the cake behind perfect weather, good company, our fearless skipper, a dedicated crew and a fast yacht named “The Kerisma”.

Overall the regatta raised just over $35,000 for Redkite, a charity that provides real and practical support to children and young people with cancer and their families from the moment of diagnosis, through treatment and on return home to the community.

The significant sum raised by the event will go towards providing practical, grassroots support including financial assistance, emotional support and educational assistance for the families who need it most.

The foundation aims to double the number of boats participating in next year's race to thirty. We would highly recommend organisations to get on board!
